Hello, my name is Dr. Jacquelyn Bogdanov. I am a licensed psychologist (WI 3661-57) and a certified PCIT therapist.
For the last 10 years, I’ve helped kids, parents, and families, using individual, group, and family therapy. I’ve worked in children’s hospitals, outpatient clinics, day hospital programs, and elementary schools in New York and Wisconsin. Through my clinical training at Columbia University Medical Center, NYU Langone Child Study Center, and Long Island University, I developed expertise in using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) for behavioral problems in young kids.
While I still provide therapy services for a small number of families, I have realized that formal therapy can be limiting and prohibitively expensive for many. Also, there is so much information about mental health on the internet and social media these days. It can be intimidating, confusing, and sometimes guilt-producing. I want to create a space with evidence-based resources and services for parents of young kids. My goal is to provide reliable and non-judgmental information for parents who are navigating all the mental health information that’s available. This is why I launched Child Behavior Clinic – to make it easier to get help for your parenting struggles or your kids’ behavior problems.
